On the 15 th and 16 th of December 2022, the UPSURGE project participated at the final conference of OPERANDUM project at UNESCO headquarters in Paris.

On the first day, Darko Fercej, E-institute presented the project key objectives and
challenges. Round table continued with deep discussions about impacts, legacy and follow up-actions to keep project results alive after the projects end. Discussion came to several interesting conclusions, presenting number of ideas about upscaling of NBS projects.
Second day discussion continued with the role of NBS for solving societal challenges and finished with networking opportunities for future cooperation. More than 130 participants attended hybrid event, including key EU officials and nature-based solution project managers.
