Partner involvement in the UPSURGE project
The University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna is investigating trade-offs the public and stakeholders are willing to make to implement nature-based solutions in the urban environment. The team is developing scenarios and in this context conducting a choice experiment (CE) in participating cities. The main task is to understand different scenarios and simulations and preferences by respective stakeholders in their respective cultural, regional and socio-economic context. The results of the CE and the related decision support tools will assist project partners in participatory processes discussing effective and tailored concepts as well as help practitioners in finding best-fit nature based solutions for their cities.
